Product information "Rocol Cutting Fluid RTD Liquid 5L"

ROCOL® Liquid is a viscous cutting fluid / coolant containing extreme pressure additives ideal for various metal cutting operations such as broaching, tapping, drilling and more. This advanced product, called ROCOL RTD, demonstrates its effectiveness in machining a wide range of metals including hardened steels, Nimonic grades and titanium alloys.

The outstanding feature of ROCOL RTD lies in its ability to drastically reduce friction, ensuring excellent cutting performance. The use of this coolant not only extends tool life but also improves the quality of the machined surfaces.

Interestingly, ROCOL® Liquid can also be added to conventional mineral cutting oils. This opens up the possibility of achieving optimum results in even the most demanding cutting operations, such as broaching and gear cutting on the most resistant metals. The adaptability of this cutting oil makes it an indispensable companion in workshops and production facilities where precision and performance are top priorities.

Rocol

ROCOL was founded upon the work of Victor Ivanovitch Ragosine, born in Russia, who took a degree in chemistry at the University of Moscow in 1854.

Based in Leeds, UK, the origins of the company date back to 1878 when Victor Ragosine developed a yellow lubricating oil which he subsequently sold throughout Europe. Unlike other lubricating methods the yellow oil was virtually non-corrosive making it technically superior to other products available.

In 1882, the UK agency manager Ernest Glehn bought out Victor and the Russian parent company and established Ragosine and Company, later to be developed into ROCOL.

Whilst they have made significant advances over the years, their ethos remains the same-to create highly technical products of superior quality to the competition, giving you performance you can trust.
