Die Sägeblätter mit Japan-Verzahnung zeichnen sich vor allem dadurch aus, dass sie eine besonders saubere Schnittkante hinterlassen. Daher eignen sie sich besonders gut für Schnitte an gut sichtbaren Stellen, wie zum Beispiel zum Zuschneiden von Parkett, Laminat und Sockelleisten, usw. Es sollte allerdings vermieden werden, mit diesen Sägeblättern auf Schrauben, Nägel etc. zu treffen. Ebenfalls ist dieser Typ Sägeblatt nicht geeignet um ins Material einzutauchen.
